    People With Violet Eyes

    Was reading Jack Williamsons `Legion of Time` (one of the best sf stories ever written BTW) The Heroine has violet eyes. Interesting the amount of fictional characters with violet or purple eyes. Why? And are there any real persons with this bizzare color??
