Call me crazy, but has the year 1966 been disproportionately featured in FT and was not John Keel himself involved in this high weirdness. Hmm?

I don't know about 1966 being disproportionately prominent in Fortean Times, but ...

That was the year Keel published his satire novel The Fickle Finger of Fate and shifted toward giving all his attention to Fortean phenomena (UFOs, cryptozoology, etc.). In other words, 1966 / 1967 was the timeframe in which Keel more or less "burst on the Fortean scene."

Is this IHTM? Shouldn't it be featured in the mag section?

Donna - I hadn't noticed 1966 coming up more than any other year to be honest, I can't say I've noticed any pattern with timeframes at all.

Good point ... This thread has now been moved to the Fortean Times Magazine section.
