Australian Leylines

Does anyone know or has anyone heard of leylines in Australia?
They seem to be all over the place in the UK and Europe but I know of none nor can I feel any 'disturbances in the force' here in West Aus. Maybe its the Viking/Celtic blood not picking up on the local Aboriginal vibes.
You guys in the UK are spoiled for choice, and the US seems to have the goods as well.
The earth may be very old here, but I think it has fallen asleep.

In Australia the Aborigines have something very similar to ley lines called songlines. I suggest you try to get hold of a copy of The Songlines by Bruce Chatwin.

Read the Songlines because it is an absolutely brilliant book, but don't take it as gospel - I have heard that it wanders towards the fanciful quite a bit.
