Circle Of Cats Surround Rabbit

Hi all here is an interesting old American news story I found of a circle of cats surrounding a rabbit. I found it in the Cleveland Gazette of NOVEMBER 16TH 1918

As an aside, I've never heard of a rabbit described as blonde before.

This is great, and so reads like code for something else, though I'm not entirely sure I want to know what that something else might be.

I think cats circling cats is quite well reported in the Fortean literature,but cats surrounding rabbits etc is much more odd

Puts me in mind of the turkeys spotted circling a dead cat.

And I love this line - "When he snapped his fingers, the rabbit came to him." This guy should be the headline.
