Creepy find in Long Island Forest

What do you all make of this? Hoax, creepy serial killer, none of the above?

'A man hiking through the woods in Long Island stumbled upon what looked like a scene out of a horror film. He shot on his phone the real Missing Persons signs, cans of food and the handmade cage-like structure that littered the scene before bolting to safety.'

I just found this - apparently it was just Halloween decorations. Oh well.

Edit: Although some people are skeptical about that explanation.

The New York Post is just a gnat's whisker above the National Enquirer (a really scuzzy tabloid, for those who don't live here), so I would approach this report with a little skepticism.

Tone of the guy's voice doesn't suggest it's real. He's nowhere near scared enough.
