Dead Man’s Fingers (Hemlock Water Dropwort)

I used to be a diver. What we knew as "dead men's fingers" was a pale soft coral, Alcyonium digitatum. We usually found it festooning the sides and rails of shipwrecks. Quite atmospheric, but neither poisonous nor parsnipoid.
