This is a thread for discussing creative works created by enthusiasts of things.

Here is a pretty decent one.

Nightwing: The Series
Synopsis: "Nightwing: The Series" follows the story of Batman's former sidekick, Dick Grayson aka Robin. After a falling out with his mentor, Dick abandons Gotham and everyone in it. Emerging in the City of Bludhaven years later, Dick takes on the guise of "Nightwing” easily defeating the petty criminals who infest it. But he soon realizes he may have bitten off more than he can chew when a mysterious and dangerous assassin only known as ‘Deathstroke, begins targeting Bludhaven citizens. Can he defend his new home and the lives of it's inhabitants from the most dangerous foe he’s ever faced!? Only time will tell in this epic 5 part mini-series!

Pretty decent production values on that for a fan made film.

Where were all those little suited ninja bodyguards coming from at the start? I was wondering if it was the same two actors and dummy's on the ground. ;)

It was surprising that they had such professional-looking gunshot and blood-squib effects.
The opening fight sequence maybe could've done with a bit more sword-play and mayhem,
just to drive home that Slade is really not a very nice man. (And they could've lingered for
a few more seconds on the decapitation, ffs.)

Okay, here is something for any Trekkies who might be around, a short film that could
easily pass for something straight from Paramount:

Star Trek: "Prelude To Anaxar"

Axanar is the independent Star Trek film which proves that a feature-quality Star Trek film can be made on a small budget.

Our 21-minute short film, Prelude to Axanar, premiered Saturday, July 26th, 2014, at San Diego Comic Con and features Richard Hatch, Tony Todd, Kate Vernon, JG Hertzler and Gary Graham, who reprises his role of Soval from "Enterprise". The makeup was done by Academy Award winner Kevin Haney and Star Trek veteran Brad Look and Make Up Effects Lab. Top that off with the amazing visual effects of Tobias Richter and The Light Works, and sound by Academy Award winner Frank Serafine, and the result is Prelude to Axanar: something unlike anything you have ever seen before. We have our loyal donors to thank for this!
