Funnel Cloud/Twister Over Hull

The Met Office only defines a cloud as a tornado if it touches the ground, and it is possible the sighting was that of a funnel cloud.

The Met Office only defines a cloud as a tornado if it touches the ground, and it is possible the sighting was that of a funnel cloud.

I saw something very similar whilst driving back from cricket Sunday before last. I was driving south on the A3 towards the South Downs and saw a huge dark funnel shape on the horizon. It did resemble a tornado.
