Basically Pastor Kevin O. Smith who led a Christian cult called Pathways became increasingly erratic, won the total support of his congregation, then staged a sermon where he started cutting their throats as a mass sacrifice. He was arrested, and died in a car crash when on the way to court, which his believers think is a conspiracy and he is still alive doing "God's work". This is absolutely insane, it could have been another Jonestown.
