Unless there was some bothersome chap constantly waving at you "hullo, hullo" and letting his dog rub against ya, just when you got to the good part of "War and Peace."
 
If he goes and lives in solitude by his own means, why would you want to disturb him (and his escape) by talking to him?

Just leave the crazy woodsman be! :p
