mediums and ghosts?

I dont know if this as been asked before on here but if you see ghosts or you are a medium when you are alive does this mean that you have more chance of coming back as a ghost when you die. Just you could say that you are in touch with both worlds when alive and so this may be true in the afterlife?

I've never heard this suggested before, and if mediums believed it I feel I would have, having attended many spiritualist meetings.

Anyway, I doubt that people do 'come back as ghosts'. Most apparitions seem to be more in the nature of recordings.
