Prime Minister's obsession with UFOs causes coup

I saw a little blurb today in a trivia book: That the Prime-Minister of Grenada was so obsessed with UFOs that rebels overthrew the government while he was abroad attending a UFO conference in the 1970s.

I haven't found much online, except for bits and pieces like this:
