Questions about ghosts.

I will be giving a talk at Muncaster Castle in late March on the subject of the paranormal and I am starting to come up with some ideas. However, I would like to draw on people's experiences and ask a few questions:

1) Have you ever had vocal (i.e. not extra sensory) communication with a ghost ? did the ghost reply intelligebly?
Have you ever been in a group where one, or more people have been in voice contact?
When people get messages by EVP, are they clear, or does it require some concentration, enhancement, slowing up/speeding down of the tape?

2) Have you ever seen or heard something only to find that it didn't record on nearby equipment? Conversely, have you ever picked up anything on tape, video etc. that you didn't see at the time?

3) Have you ever been in a group situation where a few of you saw a ghost etc., but not EVERYONE in the group?

Many years ago I used to keep a horse at livery at a riding school, the farmhouse there was supposed to be haunted, late one evening two out of a group of 6 or 7 shouted "who's that in the kitchen?" simmultainiously, none of the others saw anything, and the two who did, oddly enough saw different things ...

Its not much but i'll tell it anyway.

It was about three weeks befor christmas at a mates house, there were four of us including me sitting around a table in one of the kitchens slaying dragons and the like when a knock rapped on the door which was closed at the time, it was at this point that i heard a gruff feminine shout/scream no one around me reacted to it so i guessed none other heared it. Diddnt say ought just in case. There were two oldies in the house which is huge and very old but the sound was a bit creepy.
Of course it could have been anything at the end of the day.

See my post about the singing woman who my mum says has been at it again over christmas. My sis told me this week (after a conversation about the goings on) says she heard a womans voice saying "oh no, curse the limb (or lint)" several times right beside her bed. My brother has heard a male voice call "short again, short again". Meself i've only heard the singing.

Just lately manifestations seem to be of the door banging variety, ie something knocking or rapping hard on closed interior doors
