Anyone got any information about the Naden Harbour carcass, purportedly a Cadborosaurus, disgorged by a Sperm whale in 1937?

Any comments, web sites etc greatfully received

This carcass was found by the flensers at Naden Harbor whaling station as they were cutting open the sperm whale's stomach looking for ambergris. It's not known what happened to the carcass, but part of it was sent to the Nanaimo Biological Station. They now know nothing about it,though it may also have been sent to the Provincial Museum in Victoria,B.C.It was identified by a Mr.Kermode,a taxidermist there,as a baleen whale fetus, but his only Zoological training was as a taxidermist. The Curator of Vertebrates was gone at the time,so the identification is far from conclusive. This information I got from"Cadborosaurus,Survivor from the Deep"by Dr.Paul H.LeBlond and Dr.Edward L.Bousfield, available from Amazon.com.
