The pterodactyls circling over Junction 21 on the M6 were a reminder that I'd reached my exit...
Despite congestion due to the narrowed lanes on the motorway and the masses of pesky 'emergency spaces' being built, I was determined to get as close to the hallowed Rixton-with-Glazebrook Community Hall as I could before nightfall. And I made it (ha, National Highways England: you didn't outsmart me after all!).

Only a short rickshaw ride from my hostelry tomorrow morning, and I'll be able to join the queues on the lower slopes of the mountain (well, maybe more of a steep kerb). Will you be there?
