Has anyone else seen this amazing fantasy movie?
One of those films that needs your imagination and nothing else to enjoy, most definitely not a martial arts movie, a fantasy set in a fantasy China.
The photography is superb, excellent score, sfx a bit cheap here and there, but still better than cheapo hollywood tack, well acted, if a touch melodramatic but I for one am used to that from consuming loadsa asian movies.
Ignore the largely negative reviews and enjoy it for what it is, a film that wants to be your friend.
