Possibly one for the Mandela thread : it's the Book of Revelation, but a lot of people call it the Book of Revelations.

Did Terry Jones once cover the idea in one of his docs? I seem to remember him or someone similar talking about the author(s) of Revelation being in exile, writing an anti-Nero book, but getting really stoned on the local fungi.

The Book Of Revelation reads more like a nightshade (belladonna, mandrake, or Jimson weed) experience than a psychedelic mushroom trip to me. Believe me, there is a world of difference between those two sorts of psyche alteration.
