That is VERY good.
That is VERY good.
I think we may have solved the mystery in this thread
I just found this, which is a Street View near the site of the Battle of Clontarf near Dublin:

It looks like part of the road ahead is a scene from winter time.
There's a monument there called Glen Mama (Battle of Clontarf).Hmm, it's in Kildare, about 40 km from Clontarf, Dublin.

This battle took place in 999; it did involve King Brian Boru though.
ON Thursday 30 December, 999, Glen Mama, one of the great battles of the Viking Age was fought in the glens of Wicklow.
It has traditionally been held that the site of the battle was located in the hills to the east of modern Dunlavin. Equally, others now place it further north on the edge of the Wicklow mountains near Rathcoole. Wherever the location in Wicklow, the outcome of Glenn Mama was to decisively shape the history of the Hiberno-Norse kingdom of Dublin.
The background to Glen Mama lies in the dramatic rise of Brian Boru, King of Munster. Brian, a man of great political acumen, military ability and cunning, steadily emerged over the 980s and early 990s to rival HighKing Mael Sechlainn.
Such was Brian's power that the high-king held a great conference with him near Clonfert in 997.
What resulted was an agreement between the two to divide control of the island. Mael Sechlainn would control the northern half, while the high-king recognised Brian's dominance over southern Ireland – giving him the hostages of Leinster and those of the city of Dublin.
To the chagrin of Sitric Silkenbeard of Dublin, the city with its lucrative trading networks now lay under Brian's control.
Sitric was to find a ready ally in Maelmorda, king of Ui Faelain in north Kildare, who deeply resented the Munsterman.
Their collective restiveness was inevitably to lead to a dangerous revolt against Brian's rule. The spearhead of the revolt was Maelmorda. ...

According to one user, the curious pup is called Maru and is the island's "unofficial guide dog" having lived on Jukdo for seven years.
They commented: "Maru is known to be super friendly to tourists and locals. There is another doggo named Mingki in another island where she guides tourist too."
In response, another user added: "She naturally loves everyone and everything, especially walks with complete strangers."
Oddly, I can't get any Google Streetview of that island.Friendly dog becomes Street View Star
An adorable dog has been captured in more than 1,000 Street View shots after following a Google Maps photographer around an island.
The golden retriever is seen guiding the photographer around the island of Jukdo, adjacent to Ulleungdo, South Korea, in the Sea of Japan - and even waits for the snapper after losing sight of him in the woods.

Me neither. There again it doesn't seem to have any roads either but it's got motorway services though.Oddly, I can't get any Google Streetview of that island.
Highly likely - I don’t suppose they had a man on the spot. Or checked details. It appears South Korea has security restrictions on mapping data and Google can't get round them. Which makes you wonder whether the Daily Mirror just picked up their story from somewhere without checking anything.

https://www.news.com.au/technology/...h/news-story/0bceec8420e24e13dcbf7c280a947fd5Google Earth satellite images have sparked a debate over whether Bigfoot is roaming around in Colorado.
A group of online sleuths apparently believe the satellite images may have captured a Sasquatch in the wild, The U.S. Sun reported.
The picture, taken at the exact coordinates 38°16‘24“ N. 108°08’32 in Western Colorado, was posted on a thread in a subreddit dedicated to Big Foot.
It shows a dark silhouette walking through a clearing, which online sleuths have calculated to be nearly seven-and-a-half foot tall (228.6cm).
Erm. . . don't think so! Appears to have a tree or a bush in it's middle!Did Google Earth finally find Bigfoot in Colorado?
