I'm a fan of Sollog (who hasn't been mentioned here for some reason)

I'm linking to a few time stamped warnings he issued about future events that then occurred. Take the Poll about wether his 'hits' are proof he is psychic.

If you don't think he's psychic, then say what he missed in his prediction.

Here are the links to time stamped warnings archived by Google with time stamps. They're not a hoax and it can be easily proven the warnings were issued before the events occurred. There are close to 100,000 posts about his prophecies in usenet so you can verify the posts with many posts issued near the original usually mocking it.

Sollog on 911 look at the date 9/11/1998, three years to the exact date of 911. He said Major emergency on 911 in DC. Three years later it hit.

911

Sollog on Madrid Masscre. Two years before terrorism hit Madrid, Sollog warned of March 11th Major terrorism. He mentioned March 11th several times and TERRORISM is under TRAIN in the prediction.

Madrid Bombing

Sollog on Great Bam Iran Quake, biggest killer in 13 years. Weeks before the Great Bam quake hit, Sollog warned of a killer quake connected to Xmas 2003, on Xmas day at 9PM EST the great Bam Quake hit and 50,000 died. He also warned of a major plane crash. On Xmas day a major crash occurred with around 100 dead. The plane took off from Bennin's airport, Bennin's is an anagram of Sollog's birth name Ennis.

Bam Quake

The hits are amazing and if you look at them as a fan of prophets like Nostradamus you will be amazed imho.

From one of the links above, there's a lot of numerlogical gubbins then these prophecies.

Many dates contain the numbers 113 within
3rd day of 11th month is such a date to contain 113 within
30th day of 11th month is such a date to contain 113 within
13th day of 10th month is such a date to contain 113 within
31st day of 10th month is such a date to contain 113 within
31st day of 1st month is such a date to contain 113 within
13th day of 1st month is such a date to contain 113 within
31st day of 12th month is such a date to contain 113 within

I have named the 9 DATES for future TRAGEDY above
All contain the dreaded 113 within their dates
DEATH SHALL COME TO MANY OVER AND OVER ON 113

PLANE CRASHES
TRAIN CRASHES
TERRORISM
FAMOUS DEATHS
MASSACRES
SCHOOL SHOOTINGS
EARTHQUAKES
HURRICANES
ASSASSINATIONS
Seven dates (no year given), nine types of diaster/tragedy, some very vague e.g. famous deaths. Given the number of permutations you can get out of this, I'd be very suprised if you didn't get the odd hit (and thousands of misses) between now and the end of time. Lots of people will die of the listed causes on dates Sollog hasn't flagged up.

Not impressed at all.

Can't decide if Sollog's delusional, a fraud or a hoax..it's hard to tell sometimes.

It's also called hedging their bets. Spam a load of dates and vague predictions over the net, state that they are Timestamped* and of course people will believe in this amazing display of predictions that have come true.

*by saying something is Timestamped, this immediately means that the predictions are kosher [of course] and you can't manipulate your posts where there may be subtle time differences inbetween posting the stuff and then the information being displayed.

Of course.

I personally don't believe in the credibility of any prediction that is made in this way over the internet. There are too many flaws in software that can allow for the unscrupulous to manipulate their predictions via this Timestamping. Sollog will also get a lucky *hit* with such vagueness as Timble has quite correctly already stated.

did terrorism occur on march 11th

was march 11th mentioned over and over

YES

YES

the time-stamps are real, since the actual date stamped isn't when sollog posted but when they entered the google archive

try to fake a google time stamp yourself, you can't

note how train is right above terrorism in the march 11th warning

anyway, sollog doesn't enter a bunch of predictions, he writes a couple each year

his 113 prophecy had the date, the event and even train in it

do you disagree he said major terrorism on march 11th and mentioned a train in his warning?

his 911 warning was so accurate he was investigated by the fbi over it

the message was clear major terrorism on march 11th it hit

he warned to watch for a train as well

it connected

as to the madrid prophecy it started out (and you didn't put it in your analysis)

11th day of the 3rd month is 311 in Western Dating

It is the ONLY date mentioned more than one time, so the key date was March 11th or the Madrid Massacre

No. March the 11th was not mentioned.

A list of numbers was. An assumption is being made that the numbers refer to the Madrid Bombings. Which in my opinion is pretty sick. Stating that it was predicted could be inferred that it could have been some how prevented.

But then again the rambling list was too vague. Surprise surprise.

A victory that is claimed in hindsight. Oh dear, sounds very familiar.

How the hell do you know? does... does... does that mean you have tried??

That is your belief, I stated mine when I said that I don't believe that these prophecies are for real.

I do not believe that these are accurate predictions. I don't believe they are predictions full stop. If he was so accurate why did he list numbers? why didn't he say it was Madrid?

Why not just post: 11th March- Madrid. Bomb's gonna go off on a train. Loss of life- substantial.

Simple as.

Once a traumatic event occurs, people say "Ooooh yeah, that was it, that's what it meant of course!". Hindsight is great but it isn't proof.

Proof would be actual clear dates and times. Instead of spamming a load of links around various forums or message boards, maybe some work could be done on helping Sollog learn some new techniques on being able to see the future more clearly instead of listing a load of vague numbers and leaving it for other people to jump to conclusions.

Seems that 113 is Sollog's lucky number, even predicted the Columbia Shuttle crash.

pretzel logic

Oy McVeigh
by Howard Altman

At least once a week since I first wrote about him some seven years ago, I get an e-mail or phone call about my old friend SOLLOG, the porn purveyor cum psycho psychic who claims to have predicted every disaster, ecological and man-made, since about 1995.

Not everyone has a sense of humor about the guy. In fact, lots of people are scared of him, something I learned just days after Sept. 11. While the world was struggling to cope, I received an e-mail from Frank Patalong, an on-line reporter from the German news magazine Der Spiegel (www.speigel.de).

"Just by scanning the archives, I learned that you in the past more than once had the debatable fun of encounters" with SOLLOG, wrote Patalong. "This self-named prophet of the Internet seems at the moment, in one of his incarnations, to spread the rumour that he ‘successfully’ predicted the atrocity of New York, Tuesday. This rumour is spreading fast: It is all over Germany at the moment."

Patalong asked me a series of questions about who SOLLOG was and why he was carrying on so. In subsequent conversations, both via phone and the Internet, Patalong told me that people all over Germany who were receiving floods of SOLLOG-related e-mails were wondering whether, indeed, SOLLOG had mysterious powers and if his predictions of worldwide nuclear conflagration would come true.

A few days after I heard from Patalong, I received an e-mail from Erik Larsen, a reporter for Information (www.information.dk), a Danish newspaper first started as the voice of opposition to Nazi occupation. Like Patalong, Larsen said that his countrymen were also receiving waves of e-mails about SOLLOG and his so-called predictions and that Danes were shaken and upset.

"SOLLOG claims to be the biggest prophet of our times and foresees nuclear terrorism in Israel and the U.S.… Does he really — as he claims — have a large group of believers behind him, and is he, as one could expect, making a fortune on his prophecy business?"

I told both Patalong and Larsen pretty much the same thing. That SOLLOG was, essentially, a loon whose "predictions" were little more than post-disaster rantings, albeit with news about disaster delivered faster than even CNN. As for any money SOLLOG might have amassed, SOLLOG’s many websites sell, among other things, "Britney Spears sex videos" and "BAD e-mail" domain names like J-E-S-U-S.com, F*CK-God.com, F*CKAllah.com, Kike.bz, Nigger.bz and dozens of other equally tasteful word combos.

A few days after Larsen contacted me, I got a phone call from CNN. They, too, were interested in SOLLOG, though, as far as I know, that network never did anything, which is no surprise, considering how much real news was taking place around the end of September.

For a while, news from the SOLLOG circles died down. Until about a week ago, when I received a phone call from one David Alexander, purporting to be an "Internet investigative reporter."

Alexander had two very interesting things to tell me.

The first was that, among the thousands of pages of documents the FBI failed to turn over to Timothy McVeigh’s attorneys, was information pertaining to SOLLOG’s claims that he predicted the bombing of the Murrah federal building in Oklahoma City.

The second was that a number of SOLLOGistas were upset with my mocking the man-god and were talking in Internet newsgroups of "erasing" me and a gentleman named Bob Carroll, who runs Skeptics Dictionary (www.skepdic.com), a conspiracy-debunking website that has hoisted SOLLOG on his own petard. Alexander also said that the SOLLOGistas were plotting to "bomb" both of our e-mail accounts as a way of protesting our blasphemy and our failure to tell the world, in advance, that SOLLOG had predicted Sept. 11 and the subsequent anthrax attacks.

I spent more than an hour on the phone with Alexander, whose voice, after a while, had a familiar ring to it. His story about McVeigh sounded fantastic, but certainly worth checking out with a couple of sources he suggested, the first and foremost being Rob Nigh, one of the attorneys representing McVeigh.

But first I did a little checking on Alexander.

I found no stories with his byline on the Internet. I called the number he gave and learned that it belongs to a Florida-based answering service, whose client was something called AIS Publishing. AIS, said the woman on the phone, stood for "Alpha Internet Services." Type that into a Web search and, amazingly enough, you get a SOLLOG website.

Perhaps the reason why David Alexander’s voice sounded so familiar was that, in reality, he’s not an "Internet investigative reporter," but John Ennis, a.k.a. SOLLOG.

Given that information, I was quite shocked when, over the weekend, I received a return phone call from Rob Nigh saying that yes, he had some vague recollection of SOLLOG, even though he could not say exactly why.

Cate McCauley, a private investigator who worked for McVeigh and watched him die from the lethal injection, told me on Tuesday that she too had heard of SOLLOG. But she has her own theories about our man with the plan.

"I recognize his name from what I call the ‘asteroid belt,’" McCauley said with a hearty chuckle, referring to the vast Internet conspiracy wasteland. "If the FBI did question people about him, so what? People like SOLLOG are all over the place. These people are looney; they crave attention. SOLLOG is the least of the crap that has been thrown at this case."

Somehow, I just know that SOLLOG and his followers will beg to differ.

why does sollog couch his prophecies

let's see he said 911 major emergency DC, in another warning he said major terrorism at NYC in the WTC

so he hit 911 dead on in two prophecies and guess what, he was investigated by the FBI over it, they hit his publisher with subpoenas to secret 911 grand juries

let's see he was very accurate on the ok city bombing, and guess what the us government detained him

he sued them in 1996 over being falsely arrested and detained after the ok city bombing

you want a case number, let's see the book I have here with a picture of the court document says

sollog vs USA et al

eastern district of pa

case no. 96cv 1499

so sollog was accurate with ok city bombing and he got arrested

sollog was accurate on 911 and got investigated

saying 11th day of march over and over and putting train above terrorism is very clear

also, he put out 10 date and location specific quake warnings in 2001

guess what he hit all 10

you add up all these things and you

ok he sued the government over the ok city bombing for being detained after his warning (court case proves it)

he hit 911 dead on in two warnings

he hit march 11th and terrrorism

he hit 10 quake warnings

he hit the bam iran quake

he hit diana's death in france on 831

you can't name a major event in the past 10 years and not have a clear hit by sollog

and yet he only put a small amount of prophecies

this isnt my belief, it's factual

your belief is it's a hoax

you can fake google time stamps (which has been argued several times in forums and usenet) well the fact is you can't fake when google records their internal time on a post to usenet, you can only fake the usenet time and not the google time, they are two different things

the simple fact is, sollog appeared in 1995 and started saying hurricanes would hit the USA, they did in 1995 as he warned, he put out another hurricane warning in 2002 and guess what we had the worst hurricane season on record and the canes hit where he warned

he released a small amount of warnings/prophecies since 1995, he was detained for the ok city bombing, he was investigated for 911 and he sure hit march 11th major terrorism

want to see the washington post article on him claiming he predicted diana's death? well guess what they don't tell you his publisher has a 100,000.00 guarantee the court record with the diana warning is real and in a US court case since 1996

the ny times says he had a lucky hit on 911, they ignore the fact he was detained for the ok city bombing and has hit other previous events

open you eyes, you have a belief, that belief is you can't do what sollog did

i have facts sollog released a few warnings and they all came to pass

if not directly then allegorically

his 911 and march 11th hits are clear and not allegorical

haha the altman article

let's see altman says sollog is alexander

then why is there an audio interview of sollog being interviewed on the net?

because altman is a liar and sollog is not alexander

funny how in 1997 on September 11th altman mocked a famous sollog warning about TERRORISM in NYC in September at the WTC

haha

howard altman is a putz imho

http://www.citypaper.net/articles/09119 ... e024.shtml

so on 9/11/1997 altman states he warned the whitehouse and the nyc mayors office that sollog was calling for major terrorism in nyc in september

four years later what happened?

911

now some here say sollog is a hoax, yet you have news articles by the city paper, der spiegel, new york times and the washington post about the sollog prophecies

it's not a hoax and he hit 911, Madrid, the bam quake, the ok city bombing, diana's death and a whole bunch of exact info about quakes and hurricanes

in summary

quix whatever said this and that (you can fake google time stamps, etc)

then he proves the claims are real by posting an article about how media around the world contacts altman about sollog

especially after 911

so you see that PROVES the sollog 911 post was real

it was a huge story that the world media was interested in

sollog hit 911

the world media didn't report it for the most part

but they all contacted altman hahaha

so what warning was altman laughing at in his own 9/11/1997 article about how sollog says nyc will be hit yada yada yada

haha

sollog was validated and the moron altman is a loon who hears voices

it's a fact alexander is not sollog and you can find interviews of them on-line, anyone can tell alexander doesn't sound anything like sollog

altman is a liar and wack that can't handle the simple truth, sollog hit 911

Check those posts, where do I state that the article proves this? nowhere.

Don't put words in people's mouths with what isn't there and never has been.

especially after 911

so you see that PROVES the sollog 911 post was real

it was a huge story that the world media was interested in
WTF? what huge story? I'd never heard of it and I don't think that I particularly walk around *veiled* as you have posted.

sollog was validated and the moron altman is a loon who hears voices
What is your beef with the journalist, if you are just a *fan* of Sollog?

Surely you would be able to discuss people's incredulousness at his extraordinary claims without resorting to childish and insulting language and namecalling? seems not though.

altman is a liar and wack that can't handle the simple truth, sollog hit 911
as above

Now are you saying 11th day of the 3rd month is not March 11th?

Or are you saying March 11th is not mentioned directly although 11th day of the 3rd month is the only DATE mentioned TWICE?
Yep I was being pedantic there, March not being directly mentioned. My argument which I later outlined in the rest of the post, is why are the predictions so vague. If he had these superhuman powers of prediction, why can't he just come out with March the 11th instead of posting a load of numerology crap. Cut the jargon and give it to people straight.

the fact is the only date mentioned twice is 11th day of the 3rd month which is for the mentally challenged March 11th
Thanks for calling me mentally challenged.

Again why resort to language like that when you asked for a discussion on what people thought about this Sollog?

altman is a loon, your use of his article about how a bunch of people in the media were contacting hims is PROOF the 911 post is not a hoax

you did argue that one could fake a google date

you can't do that

so by arguing the dates can be faked you set yourself up now, why did so many in the media contact altman if the 911 post was fake

you admit you are nothing but a person that deceives

you admit sollog said 11th day of the 3rd month

yet you LIE and say he didn't say March 11th

how about this, don't post in my threads

i think you are nothing but a liar

the sollog warnings have clear hits yet you lie

you say march 11th is not in the warning yet you admit now 11th day of the 3rd month is

i don't want to debate anything with a proven liar

altman is liar go email him you will get a long

anyone saying 11th day of the 3rd month is not march 11th is a liar and not worth discussing anything with

Yeah right...

Posting the article was not proving my point re: time stamps. Did I post or state that it was? no.

The word *March* wasn't directly mentioned- I acceded the point there, 3rd month yadda yadda was. So why couldn't Sollog have just said March the 11th instead?

BTW this is a public forum. You cannot not tell me or any other poster where we can or cannot post. If I wish to post on this thread and the material is within the forum rules then I will.

OK a few things from the outset:

1. ceo - we do prefer it that people declare their interests as it helps us evaluate where they are coming from.

2. They aren't "Google timestamps". Google is hosting the Usenet archive which used to be carried by DejaNews (before they started going commercial and fell apart). As they whole point is that news gets propogated to a variety of servers at the same time we can probably assume the date and time on the posts is kosher (if not people could check).

So lets look at the claims:

911

Great emergency is vague, no year is given and I would think that anyone posting a prediciton of 911 might happen to mention New York.

Verdict: I'm unimpressed.

Madrid Bombings

That iis a list of dates and a list of potential issues noen of the connected - the number of possible combinations and permutations is such that one could .Claiming that "TERRORISM is under TRAIN in the prediction" is reaching - esp as it is TRAIN CRASHES.

We ha a thread (or two) on trying predictions - if someone had posted something like that in there they would have been acused of hedging their bets so much it makes the whole exercise pointless.

Verdict: I am far from impressed.

Bam

Again this is so general and vague as to be largely worthless. I assume you are claiming that this prediction was a chillingly accurate prediction of the Bam quake:

Behold great quakes shall take many lives
as well as being incrdibly vague you try and link it to the fact that the prediction also mentions Christamas Day but there is no link between these two unless the prediction was supposed to be about things that were going to happen at Christmas 2003 in which case just about everything else is a massive miss.

And this:

Bennin's is an anagram of Sollog's birth name Ennis.
No it isn't.

Verdict: Even worse than the first two.

---------------------------------
If that is the best SOLLOG has to offer then is it any reason that it isn't taken seriously?

If you care to find this all chillingly accurate then that is up to you but given your associations then you would be impressed by this. Don't be too suprised if you find yourself very much in the minority.

[edit: Before we go any further you need to address the issues raised here:

Have a look at the top of the page and you'll find (as it currently stands) that only one person believes that Sollog is psychic (have you voted?), 3 people believe he isn't, and 2 people are undecided. That may give you a feel for the answer to your question. ;)

Hurricanes hit the USA virtually every year, frequently Florida.

Without a shred of psychic ability, I predict that someone famous will die before Christmas, and that hurricanes will hit the USA in 2005.

I'd never heard of SOLLOG before ... but this is probably because my anti-spam software works. It all sounds so vague which, in fairness to SOLLOG, is a common theme of the hundreds of so-called visionaries that crawl out of the woodwork after any major disaster.

ceo - I respectfully suggest you take a deep breath and calm down. You say you are a fan of this SOLLOG. Well, you're not exactly doing him/her a favour by ranting, name calling and repetitive posting.

The story begins in the wee hours of Feb. 5, 1988.

A man named John Patrick Ennis, who now calls himself SOLLOG — Son of Light, Light of God — and who believes himself to be a deity, was driving his rented Honda on Roosevelt Boulevard when one of two things took place.

According to the prosecution, a drunken Ennis bumped into a motorist twice before fleeing northbound on the boulevard. The motorist followed, then flagged down a police car driven by officer Sam D'Urso. D'Urso, according to the Commonwealth, then chased Ennis, who was moving at an ungodly speed of nearly 100 mph.

Bottled up at the intersection of Southampton and the Boulevard, Ennis stopped his car. D'Urso approached Ennis, who started the car again, hitting D'Urso with the open door.

D'Urso reached into the car to try and grab the keys and Ennis backed the car down an embankment, dragging D'Urso as much as 30 feet and injuring him to the point that he was finished as a police officer.

The cops chased Ennis to the back of the Neshaminy Mall, where he was arrested on two counts of aggravated assault (including one charge of intentionally causing serious bodily injury to a police officer), one count of recklessly endangering another person and one count of driving under the influence.
.
.
.
But God was on trial.

And after four days of listening to Ennis rant on about conspiracies, holy prognostications and his pending lawsuits against almost everyone associated with the case, the jury was in no mood to quibble over D'Urso's deviations.

Guilty, your honor, said the foreman on each of the four counts against SOLLOG.

Good riddance, God.

When I got a call that SOLLOG was on the stand, I knew I had to go see him.

He was, after all, the guy I reported to the FBI for making bomb threats against me. He was the guy who sent me dozens of faxes explaining the link between the Oklahoma City bombing and every natural disaster from hurricanes to earthquakes.
.
.
.
Making one last request that exasperated DeFino, SOLLOG asked if the sheriffs could wait a half hour while his wife, Nicole, popped out to the store to get a pair of sneakers.

"I have high arches, your honor, and the last time I was in jail, my shoes were killing me."

;)

I guess it's "Sollog and thanks for all the fish." ;) :)

I'd never heard of him before, but I'd file him in the same category as Nancy of Zetatalk fame. It's beyond me how such mediocre minds manage to attract such a cult following.

I am DOGDOG Hear my prophecy

The numbers 123567 are SPECIAL
Using the numbers below 9, THere is A SPECIAL MONTH
Using numbers starting with a 1, 2 or 3, THERE IS A SPECIAL DAY
and in the year ending in 5, 6, or 7, THERE IS DOOM.

Be ASSURED that something BAD will happen on the SPECIAL DAY, ON THE SPECIAL MONTH, IN THE YEAR OF DOOM.

I am DOGDOG - Designer of GREATNESS, Debater of GLORY.

<ahem>

is just as vague as sollog's "predictions". I am not saying sollog didn't have predictions, just that they are so vague as to be totally useless to those of us who could use predictions. You know, to stop the DOOM.

Even If I said "on April 3, 2006 there will be a significant event" then that really doesn't say much either.

What would be helpful would be if I said "on April 3, 2006, there will be an early Hurricane to hit the Florida Keys. Please sell your property before March 15 so that you get maximized profit." then that would be a helpful prophecy.

Otherwise, vague generalizations can be read into almost anything. Especially if you count events years away. (as sollog did)

and now, off to more important posts. . . like seeing if my avatar works.
