Oh, The Irony

18?… he could be anything from 30s to 50s.

He’s got the look of a man caught having a piss in the street. We can’t see what his hands are doing. Probably just as well.

Looking him up I found this:

Richard Strocher (@Richard Strocher) is an online commentator and X / Twitter trolland gimmick account whose posts and unusual username attracted attention in 2023 and 2024. In his bio, Strocher claims to be affiliated with Fox News, The Blaze and that he's the host of "The Richard Strocher Show" on Rumble, which does not exist. In early 2024, Strocher went viral online after he claimed to have "heard Jews" underneath the floor of his house in connection with the Chabad Synagogue Tunnels incident, receiving widespread media coverage and discourse online. His username has also inspired commentary and confusion because "Richard Strocher" can be read as "Dick Stroker.”

Hmm. He may not actually be a real person then. The photo is probably some perfectly innocent random trainee accountant. Poor sod.
I certainly don't think the picture is 'him'. Could be random or more likely AI. The internet seems uncertain as to whether he's 'humorously' trolling right wingers specifically - rampant Trump support etc. I think he's had other trolling topics as well.

Like Richard Keys after being showered with flour.

* That mean-spirited jibe resulted from Strocher's crass, 'ironic' joke about Jewish people.

Harvard Scholar Who Studies Honesty Is Accused of Fabricating Findings

The scholar, Francesca Gino of Harvard Business School, has been a co-author of dozens of papers in peer-reviewed journals on such topics as how rituals like silently counting to 10 before deciding what to eat can increase the likelihood of choosing healthier food, and how networking can make professionals feel dirty.

Questions about her work surfaced in an article on June 16 in The Chronicle of Higher Education about a 2012 paper written by Dr. Gino and four colleagues. One of Dr. Gino’s co-authors — Max H. Bazerman, also of Harvard Business School — told The Chronicle that the university had informed him that a study overseen by Dr. Gino for the paper appeared to include fabricated results.

More Francesca fabrications and plagiarism emerges.

Harvard University honesty researcher Francesca Gino, whose work has come under fire for suspected data falsification, may also have plagiarized passages in some of her high-profile publications.

A book chapter co-authored by Gino, who was found by a 2023 Harvard Business School (HBS) investigation to have committed research misconduct, contains numerous passages of text with striking similarities to 10 earlier sources. The sources include published papers and student theses, according to an analysis shared with Science by University of Montreal psychologist Erinn Acland.

Science has confirmed Acland’s findings and identified at least 15 additional passages of borrowed text in Gino’s two books, Rebel Talent: Why it Pays to Break the Rules at Work and in Life and Sidetracked: Why Our Decisions Get Derailed, and How We Can Stick to the Plan. Some passages duplicate text from news reports or blogs. Others contain phrasing identical to passages from academic literature. The extent of duplication varies between passages, but all contain multiple identical phrases, as well as clear paraphrases and significant structural similarity. ...

The DEA’s contradictory role in both combating the illegal drug trade and regulating the supply of legal, prescription drugs is highlighted by the fact that at the same time as the DEA was raiding and shutting down Ascent, the FDA was pleading with them to increase production!
Indeed, there is a large factory in the United States capable of producing 600 million doses of Adderall annually that has been shut down by the DEA for over a year because of trivial paperwork violations.
