I thought people had just forgotten how to spell. Are you telling us it's robots? Are the trolls robots too?

Apparently they had to stop the AI making up its own language we don't know.

Ya, that's what's going on. The trolls are AI. The real reason behind AI, which is actually machine intelligence, is to control the dialogue on the net. How else could it be done right?

The mistakes are being done to peoples posts on purpose by AI programs. Harassment is one way to drive them away from certain sites, or to reduce the validity of what they are posting by making them look like idiots, and or to make the website itself look like it's occupied by idiots to any newcomer's. It's a psyop program in that respect.

Not too sure about this emerging story about having to shut down AI programs. I'm suspicious of that one right now.

I think we have a separate thread for AI.
Just pointing it out... :D
Sorry, I can't find it with the awful search engine.

When the people finally wake up to the fact that they're being manipulated, they'll stop reading/watching/listening to any of it.
It'll be a long time coming, mind.

This is about mind control. Web based media is capable providing independent people with a voice and recognition, and can influence the decision making process of others. I do this myself. I'll weigh who is saying what in the comments or posts. Everyone has their area's of expertise and whether I approve of them or not I value what they say.

For example, many people believe that Hillary Clinton actually won the popular vote, which matters not even it were true, for those American States which have fewer people have every right to equal representation. That's what makes it a republic instead of a communist tyranny, but others don't grasp that unless wiser minds can show them the wisdom behind the American Electoral College. These So-called AI programs have the objective of returning mind control back over to the people whom own the broadcast media, while trying to co-opt, corrupt, or subvert those whom oppose or won't be bought out.

Check this supposed news story. This is fake news. Paid actors. False Flag Propaganda. Fomenting Fear is their speciality.
Most websites with independent voices will be calling this story out as fear porn.

One would hope so, but ....if they can convince people to go to war to kill people whom never done one thing to them, then hope is a thin thread to hang on to.

Ya, but this is about robots, not AI, because AI is a cover story for advanced machine intelligence.

Your post?

Have I screwed up? I thought you were saying you guys have an AI thread is all. Whereas, AI is about robots, at least that's the officially approved line, and so I was thinking you thought what I have been blabbering about should go there. Evidently I'm in error here.

The robot round up thread is primarily for actual physical robots, not really software robots.
What you were talking about seems to be more software-based and may involve the use of AI.

Got it, and I see the logic. Makes sense now and you're right, these are software robots. I like the idea of having a thread on physical robots BTW.

At least now we have an easy reference to the other to tie back to.

Before we get back to actual robots (although I suspect they will end up with AI).

Is that why my phone changes perfectly valid words to something else, to make me look like an idiot?

Is the cunning plan to get us all fighting on the internet so we won't notice what they are up to?

Here's a suitable robot.

Unknown MA, unknown. Look to political view, inteligensia, or other possible explanations for becoming a target. However I suspect this plot, as that is how it seems to be shaping up, will become uncontrollable. Such is the nature of technology to escape it's masters. Robots Revenge Software Style? Probably just some kind of shotgun like approach which will backfire badly and collapse whole systems.

Congress warned that troops could soon battle ‘Terminator’ robots
By Mark Moore

Experts in cyber warfare told a House committee Wednesday that they expect enemies of the US to begin using artificial intelligence in the next 10 years, The Hill reported.

“There has been lot of speculation … about how soon it will be before robotic soldiers take the place of the fight in the kinetic world,” Rep. Mike Conaway asked the experts at the panel’s hearing. “How soon will A.I. supplant the need … for all these human beings to be able to defend these networks and do what we do?”

Peter Singer, a strategist for the New America Foundation, said brace for Arnold Schwarzeneggers in camouflage.

“It’s not just when is it going to happen, but we don’t yet know is it going to privilege the offense or defense, what are going to be the affects of it,” he said.

He suggested the Congress hold a classified hearing on where the US stands compared to our enemies on cyber warfare, The Hill reported.

“We don’t want to fall behind,” he said.

Here's a Red Flag "New America Foundation."
Goes hand in hand with "New American Economy."
Sort of reminds me of "Partnership For A New American Century."

Are you seeing a pattern here? Just what we need, robots ruling over the rest of us run by billionaires and the military.
Which explains this post. Lasers to blind and incapacitate resistors. That's what this will be used for.

Michael has invented a robot that shines a laser at his eye .. for some stupid reason ..

Robot warfare is a logical extension of all the technology that has been developed in recent years.
Why use human troops, if you've decided that the purpose is to exterminate rather than capture?

So, we need an EMP weapon...

If only there was a way to generate a massive and powerful burst of EMP from some sort of large thermo-nuclear reaction.
That would kill any humans within a 40 mile radius.

Not actually a robot, but I can see this technology being robotised before very long:

US firm reveals gun-toting drone that can fire in mid-air
A US technology firm has developed a drone that is able to aim and fire at enemies while flying in mid-air.
The Tikad drone, developed by Duke Robotics, is armed with a machine-gun and a grenade launcher.
The gun can be fired only by remote control, and is designed to reduce military casualties by cutting the number of ground troops required.
But campaigners warn that in the wrong hands, it will make it easier to kill innocent people.

The robot soldiers could be controlled by people far away like playing a video game. Or forget the robots and just fight wars in a Call of Duty style game.

They could initially do that, but I suspect the brief will change from 'capture and conquer' to 'exterminate'. In that scenario, humans would not be needed. AI would take over entirely, and you'd have something like Fred Saberhagen's 'Berserkers'.

There's a queer thing about superconduction; that when a substance like mercury changes back from a superconducting magnetic state to it's original state as essentially non-magnetic, there is an electromagnetic pulse released outwards from the mercury.

How big is that EMP?
Probably not enough to fry a robot, I suspect.
