Stone Circles Of Modern Origin

:thought:

I'm wondering now why people would erect this 'modern' stone circle?
For dancing about naked and calling it a ritual?

After moving to Kent from Wales, Francis Crawshay created a stone circle in the grounds of his house in Riverhead (Riverhead/Sevenoaks area). He died in 1878. His house is long gone but at least some of the stones are still standing. One was moved in 2003 to a new home in Bradbourne Lakes because someone didn't want it in their garden (what a shame - but at least it is still nearby). He was quite a character....

An interesting, if a little eccentric life time of this Gentleman. . .
