Japanese police have arrested two men who posted a clip showing one of them eating ginger from a communal container in a prank that has become known as “sushi terrorism”.

Next time one of those "my right not to get heath care" types makes a fuss about some regulation, show them this article. Japan does it old school.

Man Reports Childhood Sighting of Six-Foot-Tall White Rabbit on Easter Morning​

The Singular Fortean Society was contacted earlier this year by a Canadian man (name withheld by request) who wished to report his encounter with a "six-foot-tall white rabbit with a dark vest" that he had seen the Easter morning of 1988 in Crofton, British Columbia, when he was 11 years old.

The Singular Fortean site posts a lot of garbage.
Back in the day, as shown in the followup photo, people dressed up as the easter bunny. It was horrific.

Kathleen Corradi has been named the city's director of rodent mitigation.

"You’ll be seeing a lot of me and a lot less rats," Corradi said.

New Jersey charges itself with damaging land it was bound to protect​

New Jersey’s Department of Environmental Protection has charged itself with damaging habitat for threatened and endangered birds that it was supposed to protect.

The work was designed to create habitat for one species of bird, but actually wound up destroying habitat for two others.

The department acknowledged it sent a violation notice and threatened penalties against its own Division of Fish and Wildlife regarding unauthorized work in February and March at the Glassboro Wildlife Management Area in Clayton, Gloucester County.

It was unclear how any penalties might work when the DEP is both the accuser and the accused. It also was not immediately clear whether any money might actually change hands. The department did not respond to questions about potential fines.
 
Therapy emu sparks police chase

A therapy emu sparked a five hour rescue mission involving the police and RSPCA after it jumped over a fence and went on the run for a mile.

The 11-month-old “very cuddly” Rodney, is one of a house full of animals owned by former consultant Jon Cardy and his wife Laura.

“Rodney makes a great therapy animal. If you can get past being completely weirded out by a six-foot bird with a massive beak right in your face, he is very cuddly and likes strokes and is good for the soul.”

Maybe that's probably the supposedly haunted vaults beneath the South Bridge in Edinburgh's Old Town area, or near-bye location? Also, the Newsy headliners - and online pic's of the door, is. . .

However, if there is no evidence of any 'Horror' having taken place, and 'no ~ body' (pun intended) has yet been found, or explored, then it's just an open-and-shut-case ( :) ) of a closed door!

Certainly can be a difficult thing to describe the colour of something, especially if it's influenced by street lights or some such illumination.
