Odd Light Bulb Behaviour?

From the title of this thread I thought this might include tales of long-lived bulbs. Old theaters are a standby for Forteana. My town has one, and I remember the ornate old theater that had the Second Bulb at an exit:

What, with a commemorative bulb screen-printed upon the front? That sounds like a good idea...some switched-on bright spark's made the right connection, if they have.

Dont you just hate it when the bulb goes ping! You then replace it and realise the light switch is still set to ON. Dazzling flashes and a shaky hand
