Critically, Lazar's stately, "typical UFO" is a product of the public misconception, regarding Kenneth Arnold's misconstrued report of elementally not 'saucer shaped' objects at all.
To recap, this was Arnold's statedly confirmed depiction of the objects observed:
It was, of course, all a result of Arnold explaining how the objects seemed to fly, 'like a saucer would if you skipped it across the water'.
It's known as an undulating flight.
The subsequent first reference to, 'flying saucers' appeared as a headline in the following, noted article.
