My grandfather was 26 when he was killed.Young to be a grandfather.

There's nothing that says he had to live long enough to see his grandchildren. Once he'd sired one child, he was basically all set to achieve grandparent status, even if posthumously.
Either him or his brother, Russell.Ben Sprout
My mum did this to me with Scott Chegge. She ruined the joke by sending me a random picture of face inside a scotch egg first though. This morning a friend sent me Facebook message saying someone'd told him he knew me and would send a photo to prove it. I hadn't heard of this mutual friend so I looked up the name; no faces rang a bell.
The friend then sent me the photo which was of an item of food that sounds like the name. (A 'Mr Q. Cumber' type of thing.)
I'd been had!
Sent the joke onto another friend who lives miles away. She rang me right away as she actually knows someone of that ridiculous name.
What're the chances, eh!
humming part of a song tune and asking them what is the song, who sings that?
I'm at work and was irritating the guys (they tolerate me lol) by humming part of a song tune and asking them what is the song, who sings that? Of course I could only hum a couple of bars with nothing coming to mind.
I asked the one gentleman if I could change the tv station to a music station to liven up the day. He's been watching the snow come down saying "gddnm" every half an hour and that's what I also have been thinking.
He agreed and when I put on the 80's channel, a few songs later, the one I was thinking of was Aha!
Lol
The buses in Ho Chi Minh city part the streams of motorcycles like sharks swimming through shoals of fish. One morning, a bus driver played exactly that riff on the horn as he ploughed his furrow down the main road. It drove me crazy, I couldn't place it for days.I'm at work and was irritating the guys (they tolerate me lol) by humming part of a song tune and asking them what is the song, who sings that? I was 48 when the first of the four grandsons dropped in. I thought that was young, but then realised my wayward sister delivered my first nephew when my mum was 37.It's possible to be a grandparent by the time one is thirty, tho' it's not recommended.
That's a kraken coincidence.I recently ordered an item that features a large image of an octopus. The day it arrived was the day I heard the Netflix special "My Octopus Teacher" announced on the radio.
No, I don't subscribe to any streaming video--
The incident occurred while a group of passengers were late at night purchasing their sleeping car places from the conductor who stood on the station platform at the entrance of the car. The platform was about the height of the car floor, and there was of course a narrow space between the platform and the car body. There was some crowding, and I happened to be pressed by it against the car body while waiting my turn. In this situation the train began to move, and by the motion I was twisted off my feet, and had dropped somewhat, with feet downward, into the open space, and was personally helpless, when my coat collar was vigorously seized and I was quickly pulled up and out to a secure footing on the platform. Upon turning to thank my rescuer I saw it was Edwin Booth, whose face was of course well known to me, and I expressed my gratitude to him, and in doing so, called him by name.
Good job he wasn’t at his fathers assassination otherwise questions might have been asked. Present at three presidential assassinations? A coincidence you say? From the wikipedia page on Robert Todd Lincoln, the longest-living of Abraham Lincoln's children:
He was eyewitness to two presidential assassinations (those of McKinley and Garfield -- he wasn't there when his father died). On top of that, he had his life saved from a railway accident by a passing stranger, who turned out to be Edwin Booth, the brother of his father's assassin John Wilkes Booth.
It must have been love.Together, they will have to overcome their fears and deal with the extra-terrestrial creature that has appeared, which turns out to be something altogether unexpected.
