A couple claim their old house could be home to a real-life Paranormal Activity - after their dog was caught on camera fleeing a tall 'floating' figure dressed in white.

Victoria Hepworth was dog-sitting her sister's one-year-old black Labrador Kiwi at their home last week when she spotted a 'weird' figure lurking in the back of an image captured by her 'dog cam'.

The 35-year-old and fiancé Joe Shard set up a motion sensor security camera in their living room to check if the pooch behaved in the night - but were stunned by what they captured on Thursday. The couple were 'unsettled' to find the cam had captured Kiwi appearing to run away from the mystery white figure, which looked like 'something out of Paranormal Activity' just before 6.40am that morning.

Really? Their first thought was "ghost" and not "burglar"?

Better than a lot of such videos, but my first thought is that the bored dog was playing with clothing that it shook as dogs dipo until it lost grip and the clothing flew up

I wonder if it might be a glare effect associated with the mirror on the wall to the left - not visible in the 'ghost' image, but included in the daytime picture accompanying the full article.

(Or it's a burglar who's just nicked the third postcard/print out of the picture frame.)

The dog is clearly having a mad five minutes. I wonder what leads them to think he was 'fleeing'? I can only assume they don't know much about Labradors!
