3 1/2 years in prison for man after blackmail with nude images via Snapchat and Instagram

A 32-year-old man has been sentenced to three-and-a-half years in prison after posing as a woman on Snapchat and Instagram and convinced victims that 'she' would engage in sexual acts with them for a fee.

In his role, the man was guilty of sextortion. He asked his male victims, who thought they were speaking to a woman, for sexually tinged images or nude photos.

He then threatened to forward the sensitive images to friends and family if the men did not transfer money.

The ruling of the Amsterdam District Court published on Friday shows that 22 men have filed a report, but that the man may have caused many more casualties. The man earned at least more than 77,000 euros for his malpractice, the court found.

A man nearly died after suffering a stroke moments after ejaculating while masturbating.
The unidentified Japanese man, 51, suffered ‘thunderclap’ headaches and began vomiting and was rushed to hospital.

The case has come to light after the publication of a medical case report ...
Doctors said the man, who was single, masturbated several times a day and began to feel very ill, very quickly so took himself to Nagoya City University Hospital.

He was disorientated and had low blood pressure which medics recognised as common symptoms of a stroke.
A CT scan was carried out on his brain and it revealed he’d suffered a subarachnoid haemorrhage, which is caused by a blood vessel in brain rupturing and can be life-threatening.
The man spent two weeks in hospital before he was discharged ‘in an excellent condition’, according to the report.

As a result, suspects have been identified throughout Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France and the USA. Among them are also many minors, said the spokesman.

Children and teenagers carelessly put material in group chats
The investigation work has now been handed over to the Public Prosecutor's Office in Amberg in the form of several hundred thousand A4 pages in 21 moving boxes. The suspects are said to face prison sentences of at least one year. "In addition to people with pedophile tendencies, it is often also children and adolescents who carelessly send such material in group chats and thus regularly make themselves punishable," said the deputy head of the Criminal Police Inspectorate Amberg, Peter Krämer.

Children are not criminally responsible, but such acts have a "criminal relevance" and are then also to be evaluated by the public prosecutor's office, said a police spokesman.

Hmmm, Grantham is my nearest town, my wife works there, and I had heard nothing about this allegedly enormous local scandal. However, a bit of cautious searching on Chrome's "incognito setting" revealed that the Sun article must have — how shall I put it? — been written by the same person who wrote it up for the Grantham Journal.

There are all sorts of events near Grantham, with at least one local Kart track, one Moto-x track, large car boot sales with hundreds of vehicles present, and so on, and I suspect all of these create more noise or disruption than a "swingathon", but receive less coverage in the national press.
