A supermarket in Numansdorp wrongly dismissed an employee with immediate effect. The case involved an 18-year-old filler who threw packs of dairy products. The young man successfully challenged his dismissal in court, but will not return to his job.

The incident took place on September 3, 2022. On that day, the man had to remove packs of custard, yoghurt and cottage cheese that were past their date from the shelves and throw them into a container. When the supermarket manager heard about the incident, the young man was summarily dismissed.
