According to The News Quiz last night, one paper had "Gay sex splits bishops", but can I find it online? I daren't look actually.

Ah, a job for me! The headline is variously attributed to Gay Times, 1979 and 1981 so I guess they got it in quite easily. Or maybe they took it out and put it in again two years later. :shock:

This sounds like it should be a line from one of those ribald old CoE limericks, the kind that start out:

"There once was an old Arch-Bishop from York
Who saw no sin in having sex with a fork...."
