I have an even deeper respect for you now.
Ha, ha! I just hate giving up on films, though that doesn't mean I don't do that ever.

Battleship. So shit I can’t even be bothered to finish the poster.

Isnt Cara Delevingne in that too?I liked Rihanna. Also liked her in Valerian and the City.
I watched it all the way too.I have an even deeper respect for you now.
I've always deliberately avoided watching this film and Waterworld because they just both looked like huge preachy environmental vanity projects for some reason. The reviews have reassured me I made the correct choice although I'd watch both of them if it erased Mama Mia from my memory .. Christ I hated Mama Mia ..
Is that Liam Neeson on that poster? ..
Waterworld isn't that bad!I've always deliberately avoided watching this film and Waterworld
Do you mean the Dennis Hopper parts? .. I'd watch it for those although Hopper was shit in Land Of The Dead. Isn't Waterworld basically Max Max but on sea platforms?Waterworld isn't that bad!
On the whole... but it probably gets better when he turns up.Do you mean the Dennis Hopper parts? .. I'd watch it for those although Hopper was shit in Land Of The Dead.
Im afraid so *shakes head sadly*Is that Liam Neeson on that poster? ..
Someone told me they were wondering where his character got his cigarettes from now that the world is flooded? .. that sort of thing can put me off a film ..On the whole... but it probably gets better when he turns up.

I'm mad, me, I am.You're just crackers!
It was on the other day, watched a bit of it, reportedly the most expensive film ever made at the time due to the amount of divers they had to employ as part of their health and safety/insurance resposabilitiesYes - so, quite enjoyable.
He was great in Land of the Dead.
It wasnt that imaginative, it was Mad Max on waterWaterworld is a very good film if you can tolerate sci fi. (I know some otherwise nice people who can't and I have great sympathy.) Very imaginative, good futurism, good story and script, on the whole good to excellent acting, nice casting and superb production and effects, but way way way way too long, and this is because it was in fact a vanity project. It lost money in first run but made a bundle and continues to do so in international distribution and the afterlife (video etc.) If you ever get a chance to see the directors cut (even longer) do so.
K .. thanks .. I know what I'll be dealing with now so will give it a go on those terms.Waterworld is a very good film if you can tolerate sci fi. Rebuilding the sets after a hurricane struck during filming, didn't help the budget. It was on the other day, watched a bit of it, reportedly the most expensive film ever made at the time due to the amount of divers they had to employ as part of their health and safety/insurance resposabilities
Wacky Wet Will.Krazy Kev?
I recommend but you do need a little patience. A few beers probably will help.K .. thanks .. I know what I'll be dealing with now so will give it a go on those terms.

I have tried to watch mad max a few times and never got through it. No context, and as I remember some non-actors.It wasnt that imaginative, it was Mad Max on water
