Ambergris is not palm oil. ..... Ambergris - Used in perfumery ....if I lived near the coast of be looking for it with a trained dog. Or more likely the aromachem "ambroxian" these days which I hate. It's in nearly all new mainstream stuff.

Someone has found something on Moreambe beach recently. He is apparently waiting to find out if it is ambergris.

There was some news report on the telly once ages ago in which I thought (because their diction was poor) that they were talking about 'hamburgers' found on a beach.
Which also seemed rather odd.

Hamburger found on a beach—within the realm of possibility, and easily found by even an untrained dog.

Earth's inner core, a hot iron ball the size of Pluto, has stopped spinning in the same direction as the rest of the planet and might even be rotating the other way, research suggested on Monday.
Eh?..

"My husband died nine years ago but an Indian restaurant said he was eating there LAST WEEK"

/sorry FT, most of the puns were already made in the article.

https://www.thesun.ie/news/10108828/husband-died-restaurant-promo-mistake/?rec_article=true

"A WIDOW who claims she saw her late husband in a restaurant's promo video allegedly filmed last week has insisted there must be a mistake.

Lucy Watson, 59, was convinced it must be old footage showing distinctive Harry Doherty, who died nine years ago."

Nice that she thought her husband was “distinctive”.

You can get a length of wire and stick the opposite ends in the ground a few metres apart and get enough current to light a small bulb though. It's to do with the resistive difference between materials, they don't store electric like a battery, just allow a current to flow.

Does that still work though with the Earth's core having spinning problems?

T-1000 Terminator one step closer to reality.

AI'll be back! Shape-shifting Terminator style robot can melt and reform to pass through metal bars.
As well as being able to shape-shift, the engineers say their robots are magnetic and can also conduct electricity.
The robots were tested in obstacle courses of mobility and shape-morphing.

When questioned about it, did he give a stock answer?

That looks more like stop motion animation to me.

Yung Gravy sued by Rick Astley for ‘theft of voice’

I'm guessing Mr Gravy didn't break into Rick Astley and steal his voicebox, though that would make about as much sense as the actual story...

I've just watched Mr Gravy's video so no one else has to .. picture someone who looks like Keith Lemon rapping about as well as the 80's tune 'Holiday Rap' with Rick Astley's voice sampled and the music to Never Gonna Give You Up looped throughout the whole tune. I'll be surprised if Rick Astley doesn't win this case. Plus it's shite.

It's not all that bad, mainly because it is based on a great 80s song.
