"(Hitler was a vegetarian) "
No he sodding well wasn't!
Whilst he occasionally avoided meat on his doctor's advice, the vegetarian myth was Nazi propaganda to depict Der Fuhrer as devoting himself entirely to matters of state and having no time for the pleasures of gourmet food.
According to witnesses though, he loved sausages, Bavarian game and his favourite dish was Leberklosse (meatballs made from beef liver).
The propaganda about his alleged vegetarianism was, however, eagerly latched onto by the Meat Marketing Board, in a rather shabby attempt to discredit vegetarianism.
