Well, the Radio guy, yes.Howard Hughes is still alive?
The Aviator, not so much.

Methinks he was being used as a placeholder until they got a pic of the real councillor.
"An inquest ruled last week that the aristocrat had killed herself after a false self-diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease."
RIP
I know he’s on the board so he is alive but his cover has been blown again courtesy of the murdered nanny’s son.

When my children were small it was astonishing the amount of crap they left in my car.Lord Lucan left three cryptic Cluedo cards inside his abandoned car before vanishing
Investigators discovered the cards, depicting Colonel Mustard, the hall and lead piping, inside his Ford Corsair following his 1974 disappearance.
The suspected killer is thought to have taken them from his own set as police claimed three cards were missing when his home was searched.
One former investigator said: “If Lucan did leave the Cluedo cards it makes me think the whole thing was pre-planned.
“It is interesting. The more you think about it, the more it has implications.”

The police searched his home, opened the Cluedo box and inspected the cards? Is this really plausible?police claimed three cards were missing when his home was searched.
Trev will have that off you. It'll keep hima book that made 'humorous' noises when you pressed various buttons.

Well quite. I may be too influenced by Life on Mars but I have a vision of officers dropping fag ash everywhere, kicking the body and saying "yup she's dead" rather than carefully matching items found in his car to ones found in his home. The Sun article is very short on detail as to who these "investigators" are. It is left to us to imagine they were the people who were on the scene at the time rather than people who have searched the internet a bit.It was the 70's. If there was no-one obvious to beat the shit out of, then they had to get help wherever they could.
Despite everything I love the Sweeney to bits. The fictional one, obs. It's the way things SHOULD have worked After all, they never fitted up a wrong'un, did they?It was the 70's. If there was no-one obvious to beat the shit out of, then they had to get help wherever they could.
REGAN: SO - WHAT HAVE WE GOT HERE?
CARTER: Looks like Mr Cheddar the Cheesemonger made a right mess of Mrs Potts the Painters Wife, sir.
REGAN: THAT’S HAPPY FAMILIES YOU MORON! WE’RE NOT BLOODY VICTORIANS. WHERE’S THE BLOODY CLUEDO GONE?
CARTER: Stop shouting.
REGAN: I CAN’T
It's what he'll get up to with the plastic cow that worries me.Trev will have that off you. It'll keep himout of our hairamused for days.
The Lucan news is fascinating.
The odds are well against that combination of cards being left by his children or left by chance.
To me, they hint at a man who was admitting his guilt, and confident that he would not be caught.
Either because was going to jump off a ferry with weight in his pockets, or spend the rest of his life on a remote African ranch.
...In the meantime, I'm off for an afternoon of boating after collecting my new cruiser from the marina. I'll see you all for drinks at the casino bar at 6 p.m sharp, the G&T's are on me.
Carlsberg Special Brew.
Y'see, I disagree and think these are purely junk left in a car. Mainly because - well, as @Min Bannister says above, did the police really check through any Cluedo sets left in the house to see if these cards were missing? Really? And if they were, who's to say they weren't carried there by accident by children? And also, he killed the nanny. If this was a crime planned meticulously enough for Lucan to leave 'clue cards' in the car, wouldn't he at least have made sure he'd killed the right woman? (All accounts point to Lucan meaning to kill his wife and killing the nanny - to whom his wife bore a superficial resemblence - by mistake). The Lucan news is fascinating.

Following a major Mail investigation, details of the Cluedo connection have been revealed by sources with knowledge of the Met's 2004 review.
Get your trousers on, son. You're nicked. It was the 70's. If there was no-one obvious to beat the shit out of, then they had to get help wherever they could.
