If it had started moving again, after coming to a stop, I'd have thought 'OK, something going on there'.The haunted potato masher.

It was moving when she started filming. I need to see a video where it stands still and then starts to move. The haunted potato masher.

Yeah, I thought it was the desk in a lobby too.It was moving when she started filming. I need to see a video where it stands still and then starts to move.
She says she filmed it in her home basement, but it looks like a hotel lobby.
Without know what the base of it looks like, exactly the same effect can be achieved with the classic 70's toy the Weeble ('Weebles wobble but they don't fall down')It was moving when she started filming. I need to see a video where it stands still and then starts to move.

It mashes potatoes - a flat bottom won't work nearly as well as a rounded one, you could squish it around in the semi-mashed potatoes. I assume it was just started to move and based on inertia it slowly winds down. Which is what we see happening. I think this was posted as a joke. Really, an antique potato masher? And yes it certainly is in a lobby or perhaps on a bar. Someone spoofing ghost videos.Without know what the base of it looks like, exactly the same effect can be achieved with the classic 70's toy the Weeble ('Weebles wobble but they don't fall down')
I haven't found one with a convex base yet, this one's similar looking ..

I'm reminded of a dreadful tale I was told many moons ago about a guy who lived in a squat and went into an unused room to masturbate while sodomising himself with the handle of a potato masher, all went well until someone opened the door which slammed into the masher end and embedded it rather further in the bugger than intended... the tale went downhill from there as the person who had opened the door hand't realised he was stood behind it so went away, leaving them to wander the house in search of some method of removing the item that didn't involve letting on what had happened.
Probably should have gone for the vicar's favourite of claiming he was changing a lightbulb in the nude when he slipped and landed on it, as it is, I forget how he got it out in the end.
As far as I know he survived, which is good, as that could be one haunted potato masher I don't want to encounter.

The Worst Ghosts of 2018
https://hayleyisaghost.co.uk/the-worst-ghosts-of-2018/If you’re a regular reader of this blog you already know the drill, but if you’re new here then allow me to explain. I’m a paranormal researcher who specialises in ghost stuff but I don’t believe in ghosts. I use scientific inquiry to investigate spooky sightings and so on.
Each year, I do a round up of the 5 ghost-related stories from the past year that made me face palm the most.
Coast to Coast has a list of their 10 oddest ghost videos of 2018. Find it below:

Some interesting ones, some good for a laugh.

i think its a doll being waved by someone in the backgroundI liked the one with the women talking to her friend via computer. If it's a fake it's a bloody good one.
Thanks Booo and I'm fairly certain it was just a bollard that created the illusion in that photograph although that is the spot the young man's body was found at by a dog walker the next morning. I sort of knew him but knew his older brother better, it was haunting to watch the brother running up and down the pier that day with a walkie talkie because sadly he was on RNLI duty that day and it was his younger brother who was missing and later washed up the next morning.I'm new to the board, so would firstly like to say hi to everyone here and I have been enjoying reading your posts
Secondly, I took a look at your pic you posted @Swifty, and it does look alot like the man who died from tombstoning. Normally I scoff at "ghostly" pics, but from the way the pic looks, it does look humanoid and spooky. I am sure that there's an explanation to it like maybe someone was underneath at the time, it certainly doesn't (to me) look like bollards or anything like that. Perhaps get someone who'd good at developing and blowing up photos to check it out? It eerily looks like the same man. Maybe it is someone being a tw@t hanging off of the bottom of the pier, although they'd be close to being on the end of the crabbing line if they weren't careful! Thanks for sharing, though.
Me and the Mrs went down to recreate that shot, we couldn't get the exact angle, it does look like him going by his height and that he had short brown hair .. his brother moved out of town not long afterwards which I can understand. I'm going with the bollard effected by light explanation but it does look very much like a figure. That's really sad, I feel sorry for the Brother at finding out on duty. The only reason I'm unsure of it being a bollard is because of the way the "thing" sticks out from the bollard/metal legs standing the pier up. It is an interesting photo to say the least.
Here's a news report of the incident showing the area he lost his life, very sadly, the then boy in this video, Adam Brown, took his own life last year for unrelated reasons. I knew Adam well. This happened only a few months after another young lad in the same family also took his own life. This has led to a media supported and much needed shake up in certain areas of support for North Norfolk people. His Dad's a top bloke or "good old boy" as they say in Norfolk, he even dropped in to visit me the last time I was in hospital which actually gave us both a laugh. He walked past me, spotted me and said "Swifty? .. are you alright? .. "No, I'm in a hospital bed." .. A local crab fishing top family through and through X ..I agree, it looks oddly like him.
Yes, that one is excellent.I liked the one with the women talking to her friend via computer. If it's a fake it's a bloody good one.
That used to happen in the last bar I worked in, I've watched a pint glass slowly slide across the table (other staff pointed it out to me while it was still happening). We decided it was some sort of condensation effect on the polished oak table because the area it was happening in was a good fifty feet away from the road. The wood in the above video that the tip jar is moving on seems to be the same type of 'slippy' wood, I'm more impressed with the second jar also moving on what looks like a different type of wood.Found this video on Coast to Coast. Apparently a tip jar in a shop is moving on its own. But you can see from the surveillance video it's moving so slow it may be because of vibrations from traffic in the street outside.
